Woo! Good news all around!

Quote:

I’ve decided that the real purpose of the blog isn’t to keep my publisher happy, but to make me feel, on bad ME days, that I’ve got something done.

Well that works, too. (And your adoring fans appreciate it, no matter what the real purpose is.)

What Southdowner said. Yayyy!

I saw there was another post with "frell" in the title and was expecting the worst. Instead, a red-letter day. Wonderful. Congrats on the bells, and again to Peter.

Congrats!

I wish I could learn to ring... it actually sounds rather fun. But I don't know anywhere around here that does it, and it gets challenging when one can't drive.

Congratulations!

Not only on subduing the ME enough to let you ring it, but especially on enjoying yourself and having the confidence to relax into it! That is seriously good news.

And we love your blog no matter what your reasons for writing it are!

Congratulations!

Anybody under the age of 50 who lives within reasonable commuting distance of a change-ringing bell tower is hereby ORDERED to go learn to ring

I'm embarrassingly under 50, and I actually looked! I rang handbells in school and loved it and didn't know there was anywhere else to go with it until I read about it here. So I went looking for possibilities. But I live next to Denver, and there don't seem to be any around...

Echoing all the rest.
Well DONE!WONDERFUL, DELIGHTFUL, FABULOUS!

Four cheers!*
Huzzah
Hoorah!
Hooray!
YAAAAAY!

*Why is it always three [cheers]? Traditionally the response is hip-hip-hooray, which is three, I guess. Or is it that said three times, which is really NINE cheers.....

Hm. Now I've confused myself. Anyone willing to enlighten me? [I suppose I could just Google it.]

ANYWAY. Happiness and good things! Celebratory exclamations!

I have looked online to try and find a place to ring anywhere nearby, but to no avail.
Yet.

And, I agree with Jodi.

Smile

Hee. Thank you. It's yet another example of how the blog would not exist if there were not Google . . . but then if Google did not exist there would not be blogging, I guess. But I was groping toward 'laws of physics' because I could only half remember them, and I googled and lo . . .
