Maybe Wolfgang doesn't like the cold? We had a BMW when I was small, which we bought in Germany on our roadtrip to Pakistan - apparently it got so used to the heat that it was never happy back in Sweden...
And if someone is wondering - this was in '77, and I'm born in '71, so no, I'm not, alas, a mine of fascinating stories of how it was to drive all that way & back. The funny thing is, though, that that is the car of ours that I remember the best (it was dark green outside & pale brown inside) - but not so odd, I suppose, considering how much time I spent in it, including sleeping in it. (I do remember how it was sleeping on the floor, with that middle section in my back - it was killer.)
Why, I feel all thin, sort of stretched, if you know what I mean, like butter that has been scraped over too much bread.

But the woman said, by now clearly offended, “Because I am a responsible dog owner!”
Oh, this made me laugh when I read it.
I agree with Maren's comments. I would also add that a responsible dog owner, even with a friendly dog, keeps the dog under control when unknown critters pass by. My dog is EXTREMELY friendly, and he could get his nose snapped off by getting in the face of another dog who might not want to know him all that well. That would be my fault, not either dog's, if I let him do it. If people want to be recognized as responsible, they should act like it.
I had no idea that my printer had this interesting capability. And I’m sure it doesn’t, if you wanted it.
Oooh, an Undocumented Feature! (Although now that manufacturers are too cheap to give you an actual operations manual, ALL features are undocumented, not just the little surprises . . .)
