Although I think there're people who read LOLcats regularly, I pretty much had to post this one:

Yep! I've seen it!

I don't think they look very angry, though. I thought they looked more sneaky and cute, how ferrets usually look. And I kind of worry what will happen if someone actually does step on them, but I realize I also overthink anything related to ferrets. :)

I was wondering about that. My college roommate had a ferret in our dorm room for a while so I've had a certain amount of exposure to them, but those two didn't look particularly angry to me.

Angry ferrets are usually pretty easy to spot. They've usually got someone scruffed and the other is screaming. :)

They don't get angry too often, not even during dominance fights. Ferrets are distressingly mellow -- when they're not hyperactive maniacs. :)

I thought of you all while I looked at this art by Mercer Mayer: http://mercermayer.com/room3.html

I loved his books as a little girl and my son loves them now, but this artwork appealed to the adult me who loves fairytales and fantasy. The page I linked to is the Beauty and the Beast room, but you should check out all the others, too.

Must go here. It's like a variation of icanhascheezburger.com (lolcats) which Robin posted a long while back. But these are so much funnier (in a darker sort of way...er, at least in my opinion...) because they're from the perspectives of the cats of "the Russian socialist/communist party". Lots of jokes about proletariat life and being a good comrade and the such. I'm pretty sure the translations are not accurate but nevertheless, they're still funny.

Absolutely amazing. It has given me an excuse to send e-mails to all my friends who keep sheep.

It kind of figures that the shepherds are Welsh ... a lot of creativity there.

Raspberries.

And it smells of rum.

On the eighth day, God created the umbrella drink, then nipped off for a loll on the beach, and saw that it was good.

This brings such joy to my heart. I can only believe that, somewhere in the afterworld, Douglas Adams is laughing hysterically.

Hey Ferret peoples!

http://www.manitobaferrets.ca/funhouse/badferret.html (only works in IE)

Some examples:

Ferrets do not wear make-up. I do not need to investigate my human's make-up bag.

I am not Jacques Cousteau. The 125 gallon reef aquarium is not my personal scuba diving spot

I will not completely flatten myself so I can crawl underneath the bedroom door of the sleeping guest who is not fond of ferrets just so I can crawl into bed with her and lick her toes
