I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel ~ Blackadder

Yes! I support the black mini. I could never wear one myself, even when I was twenty, but by the pics that show up now and then, you can, so WHY NOT?
I don't know that I have ever actually used the "don't scare the horses" line, but I am certainly familiar with it and pleased with encountering it at any time.

But I already own a copy of PEGASUS, which I have had since publication day, and I seriously can't afford another!
Mind you, if you promised to sign the copy I already own, I might come in one of my best skating dresses....
There are yarn shops in London.
There are indeed. What is more, there is a very good yarn shop just by Waterloo Station (where trains from Darkest Hampshire tend to arrive and depart). What is more, you are signing on a Thursday, which is when they have their Knitting Night. I don't usually go, but it has been known - I know I went with Vikkik after your last London signing (you were not yet, at the time, enslaved to the Beneficial Addiction that is knitting. And we got lost - Waterloo & the whole South Bank generally is very confusing, and I got lost there 3 times in as many days!). So maybe, when you have finished signing, you will slip round there to stroke the yarn... I know there are other forum readers who usually go!
