Erika: What can I say? I aim to please? (I too have spent a lot of time there, although not recently. If I ever get the chance to teach French, though....)

b_twin_1: Yes, one of the things I love about that movie is that it has some really good lines in it. Like, "His destructive programming is taking effect. He will be irresistibly drawn to large cities, where he will back up sewers, reverse street signs, and steal everyone's left shoe." Or, "The manager's a vampire. He wanted me to join his legion of the undead." And the whole "mosquitoes as endangered species" thing always gets me too.

And here's a funny news article that a friend sent me: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/3328 480/Otto-the-octopus-wrecks-havoc.html

This - http://www.freerice.com/index.php - is an interesting site for developing one's vocabulary and other subjects, that also does some real good in the world. The more words/items you attempt, the more food gets sent to those in need through payments made by the advertisers on the site.

I've done that one. It gets quite addictive. There's a ceiling I hit, and it's hard to go beyond a certain level. Or at least it is for me. Luckily I never remember what that level is from one time to the next (I have a terrible memory for numbers).

Oh dear. I should never have tried to read this list in a public place! I had to stop reading on several occasions and fake a cough.

I offer you Fling the Cow, which used to have its own flash site but is now on myspace. http://www.monstergamez.net/game/6666788/Fling-The-Cow.html

You should also check out muffinfilms. She has a few other sites, but I haven't looked at most of them. http://www.muffinfilms.com/

Below is the Norad Santa Traker website. I meant to post this earlier, so those with little ones could enjoy it before and on Christmas, but it's still fun. I especially thought the bell ringing game (Merry Music Makers-the building on the bottom left) was appropriate for this forum:
