Angelia - I'm the second of those three. So the question is - who's the third?
If it's the new series, then it's the one series with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. (I've taped this, but haven't got to it yet. After that things get sketchy, thanks to SVT not showing anything more, and the Digital Delight that for the longest time plagued BBC - Prime, or Entertainment, or when or whatever it was called at the time. I suspect I too will have to resort to DVDs as soon as I hit the David Tennant series... )
Why, I feel all thin, sort of stretched, if you know what I mean, like butter that has been scraped over too much bread.

They are sort of both new beginning and continuation, but I agree, the series that began in 2005 with Eccleston is a great place to start.

Alfred Hitchcock's Suspicion with Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine,
also Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy with Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Hurt, Ciarán Hinds, Mark Strong and Toby Jones.
Oh! and BBC's Sherlock (series two) with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman created and written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.

Just watched Henry Cavill (the new Superman) being offed on Midsomer Murders:

It's fun to think how many actors must have, at one time or another, been either murdered, murderers or suspected of being murderers, on Midsomer Murders.
So, to "celebrate" - this was my second episode (I think I've got a few of my tapes mixed up) and I'm now finding out "what all the fuss was about" - here's the theme:

And at last, some travelling advice - whatever you do, never go to Midsomer.

|
For a moment there I was confused, as in Swedish "semester" means vacation. (Not that they can't be h***ish too, of course... )

Yes, I know! Though I haven't (obviously, since I've only watched two episodes and I'm on the wrong season/series entirely) seen that episode, I happened to catch glimpses of a program about the show, and inadvertently spoiled myself a little - most of which I have happily forgotten (who says there aren't advantages to having a rotten memory? ) but wasn't he

They show the little-known, less-talked-about dark side of bell ringing... Though to be fair, everybody drops like flies in Midsomer... it's a residential hazard, you might say... In fact, it's surprising they've got any population left...
