Huh. I did notice the days are passing oddly quickly. I guess we have you to blame for that.

I sympathise. I am moving on Tuesday. Eep.

As the Japanese would say, "Ganbatte!" I know we all look forward to the finished product Smile

(sort of translates as good luck and work hard, but not quite... there are so many useful little phrases and words in Japanese that aren't in English...)

Oh my. I don't know whether to laugh rather loudly at your post or to cry in sympathy...

Eeek. I'm so conflicted. I want the rest of the week to go sloooooow for you but I want it to go fast for Jodi.

Sorry, Jodi, I'm requesting that the TARDIS intervene....!

I certainly enjoyed the Um,SHADOWS posting. Robin might be going mad with the deadline looming, but at least she has me smiling with her crazy posting. I hope that Robin is able to make the transition back to sane (or at least a more comfortable state of madness) once Shadows is sent to the publisher. Good luck!

Oy. May I suggest a break of knitting and chammomile tea so you can get through this, Ms McKinley? I find I do some of my best story telling when knitting. Now granted, I never get it writtten down, and that would be a problem for all of us, but it is very good for sorting things out. But not so good for the knitting, so I would choose hellhound squares for this one, not your lovely ribbing.

Oh... dear...

Why, I feel all thin, sort of stretched, if you know what I mean, like butter that has been scraped over too much bread.

It's OK. We understand. Breathe. Breathe again. Now: here's the virtual chocolate, the virtual cup of tea. Another breath. It's OK. Sympathy, very gentle virtual hug, and see you 24 hours after next Tuesday.

Yes, exactly. Or even 48, if you need it. Maybe the next week's worth of blog posts could be made entirely of the word "Shadows". Or be nonexistent. We'll be candle lighting and things that you'll finish up without too much insanity.

In complete agreement here. Spend your words where you most need them now. We will be patient -- and sending you good thoughts while you slog through to the end!

Wishing you a week of strong tea, cooperative circumstances, and sleep when you need it. And looking forward to breaking out the virtual champagne when you post that it's finished. Smile

I just at a chocolate with a chai tea filling and I thought of you. Imagine I am sending you virtual ones.

Good luck! You can do it!

By the way, is this a record for being the first post with no footnotes? I ... may be getting withdrawal symptoms.

I was about to say, Wot, no footnotes!

Maybe Jodi should take over the blog for the week - would that sort it all out for everybody (longing for my parcel from Amazon, and then later next month for the one containing EMoon's latest).

The Hawaiian pidgin sort of equivalent is "geev 'um!" So, Robin, GEEV' UM!
