Yes, most cooks seem to agree that potatoes roasted in goose fat are about as good - in the sense of a lovely crunchy outside and a fluffy inside - as it gets. Duck fat is pretty good too. Glad you enjoyed them. "Never let a computer know you're in a hurry."
