I was randomly surfing the web today - and discovered this blogpost about someones very scarey discovery in one of Robin's books.

I think I probably would have had to find somewhere else to sleep, assuming I could sleep what with mourning the loss of a favorite book like that.

But since it happened to someone else, it is kind of funny. Smile

Between the ants and the loss of the book, it would be the couch for me, I think! Somewhere else to sleep, and back support in case I can't...

When we were getting ready to leave Hawaii back in 1997, I discovered an entire shelf section full of paperbacks totally infested by termites. Lost almost all of my Andre Norton books, among others; all told, close to 200 books were infested. We had to destroy the shelves, too. *ick*

So, this story didn't make me laugh, but instead wince in sympathy. I would have been freaking out - I think ants bother me even more than termites ...
