You and I could sing that song together. In fact, we could write the song: lyrics and music (though filching tunes from the hymnal is a lot easier) and terrorize whole neighborhoods.

I should not be this tired
It is not good for me
It makes me cross
And then I toss
Good manners to the sea...

Or variations on that. Today's colicky horse...the traffic on the way to the city and back...the crush at the FedEx office when I wanted to get the copy edits copies and then sent (I opted for "sent" because I didn't have the energy to stand by the copier and the one clerk had enough jobs ahead of mine to last until closing.) And since the colicky horse was--though depressed by the problem--not cooperative, my weight and muscle were needed to, and I now have some pulled muscles.

When I make it onto the train tomorrow, I'm going to go *spla*. I did manage to acquire an ample supply of chocolate at the grocery.

But major sympathy. Too tired does not feel good!

Wow. I hope you get those holes filled up sufficiently as soon as Atlas can work his magic! In the meantime, I hope the bats don't start nibbling on anything like a hell hound...who knows what their blood would do to a bat! Last thing even a Hell Goddess needs is brood of Hell Vampire Bats in her home, particularly when she already has plenty of other bats elsewhere.

Also, I applaud Nadia for managing to not eat the chocolate right then and there. I don't know if I would have been able to stand it.

Good luck with getting better rest so you aren't too tired!

PS-New needles? This means...MORE PICTURES! Yay!

I hope by the time you read this that you're feeling better. I didn't see your post last night because I was too tired to hook up the computer--we'd been in Kansas City for the weekend and drove home Monday; *I* drove, because we had the megavan and it isn't a vehicle my husband especially likes to drive--and just crashed after feeding dogs. You have my sympathy.

And I did cheer myself up briefly, after I told Anthea I wasn’t coming to bell practise, by buying two pairs of vintage pink plastic knitting needles on Etsy.

Gosh, what's vintage? I have a drawer full of 30-year-old needles--are they actually worth MONEY??? Smile

It was probably a mouse. It smelled like a brontosaurus. For several months.

I was once told that a dead mouse wouldn't really smell, because they're small and "just dry out." WRONG.
