I just noticed and fixed it! Whups! (And while I was fixing, got this message from you, and a PM from Maren. You guys are on tonight. I, apparently, am not.)

Robin - I almost never use search in any email program (I'm stuck with Notes at work, which makes Outlook look brilliant by comparison). I find that it's often easiest to order the emails by the person who sent them to me (click on the top of the "From" column) and just look through the emails from that particular person, especially if I have an idea of the time frame within which the email was sent. Of course, the email demons sometimes still win the war to hide messages...

Could hardly read the text for cooing over the pictures of Ninja Kitty.

And considering that it was Robin's text I was able to glance past and have to go back and re-read...that's proof of serious kitten magic.

RRRGHHHHHH!!!! ADORABLE..... KITTENNNNN.....

This is particularly enjoyable for me because when I got my orange boy he was already older than this little guy. I'm enjoying imagining these as pictures of his own lost kittenohood. Smile

Lovely pictures. Lovely kitten. I no longer need to turn green with envy over them. My timid shelter cat has decided she's a lap cat. She still won't let me approach her. Everything has to be her idea. But, as a friend shrugged, "That's a cat for you."

Still a major cutie, no matter what position he manages to get himself into. From the way he's going after that fuzzy toy, I'd guess the spaniel has more to worry about than the kitten!

Ohhh! Awww! Just adorable! I've spent the whole two posts laughing in delight... Thank you! Smile

Oh, yay! I'm so glad for you! Does she allow squeezings?

I remember the first time I picked up Sassi... she thought her last moment had come. (She was, I don't know, seven-eight months and not used to much human contact.) We have now (many years since) worked out a routine when and where she will get into my lap... It involves me sitting on the kitchen floor - if I'm not in the kitchen and she's in the mood for some lap-time, she will come and fetch me, and I'll go and sit down there... As your friend said, that's a cat for you. Smile

Kittens live so much in the 'now', don't they, and it's lovely to see. Smile

Sorry. I had the erroneous impression from somewhere that those thread headers couldn't be changed, so I meant to be warning people coming after.

I have the magic! ;)

Actually, I think anyone can change them inside the forum. Like this.

I wasn't sure if changing my post would change the one on the topic list, but I was pretty sure we could make it work somehow. :)

No, but she vastly approves of brushing and combing. Smile

It's a good thing you've learned to speak Sassi.

I am especially charmed by the emphatic, dark orange markings that begin on ninja kitten's face, cover his ears and go streaking down his back to his tail.

I love his expression in the second Ninja Kitty picture: "OMG, it's a Tail from Above!"

I've been enjoying the Ninja Kitty pictures, thinking that it's so lovely to relive memories ... HAH!

On Sunday, my pastor husband preached at another congregation as a favor to that pastor, a friend who underwent spinal surgery this past Thursday (BTW, in the meantime my daughter-in-law gave birth to our grandson two weeks early, on Saturday morning). When he arrived there, he found that some unknown person had left a box at the church, containing two little kittens, just barely weaned. There was a torn (clawed) bag holding some kitty litter, and inside the box was a bag with some kitty kibble. No one from that congregation would take the kittens home; they were actually going to leave the kittens in the box at church over the rest of the weekend - the babies had NO water. So, hubby called me to explain everything, and we decided he would bring the kitties home and we'd take care of them over night and take them to the local animal control in the morning.

You can probably guess the outcome; the kitties are staying with us. I guess I'm going to have my own Ninja Kitty pictures, along with all the baby pictures of my darling grandson. (Unfortunately, all our digital photo files are HUGE and I don't know how to downsize them)

Mine has never been a lap cat.... EXCEPT when I'm knitting. Then she will cheerfully climb into my lap and lie on top of the needles. ("Pet ME!!") She will even go to sleep, making it impossible for me to knit until she wakes up.

With Christmas knitting taking place, this can get quite serious Wink

If you use an online hosting service like Flickr, you can upload full-sized photos and they will provide you with suitably reduced versions. You can then email, post or download those.
