You realise that even if 1,000,000,000 of you have posted to the Enchanted Inkpot YOU'RE HURTING MY FEELINGS by neglecting the blog forum ENTIRELY.

I got wrapped up in thinking about the cool concept of pegasi with hands. Smile

Oh, dear. Sorry about the neglect. I wasn't sure what the protocol was (silly me, expecting *protocol* on Robin's forum), and then got distracted by things I was actually supposed to be doing.

You're really going to be a part of the unauditioned chorus? Excellent!!! Very Happy

Oh, and it's good to hear you aren't trying to get Peg II done by this fall. Much as I would like to read the end of the story, I'd rather *not* have you keeling over from overwork (or be squished by steamrolling publishing deadlines.)

ROFL!!!!

We are going to hold you to the chorus thing, now that you've said it in print. No backing out, now! Smile

Thanks for the link--I enjoyed reading the interview. And I got a chuckle out of the housewife-mermaid-with-tail story idea (locomotion a problem, yes, and not the only problem, either) that was obviously well abandoned.

So, considering a chorus--have you contacted the cherub yet? Wink

I think I probably can't (back out). Remember, Oisin is involved--he's the rehearsal accompanist. And He Knows Where I Live. Smile

Sigh. *Must phone Cherub.* No. The unauditioned chorus won't know if I can sing or not, if I do the opening-and-shutting-mouth thing. Smile

I will explain this to my thesis adviser. I'm sure she'll understand. Wink

She doesn't read enough fantasy Sad She does, however, read lots of mysteries, and is going to loan me a Peter Dickinson mystery novel Smile We've probably bonded more over discussing Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers than over discussing anything related to music.

That's the first one I read, lo these many years ago. Good pick by the publishers.
