Well, I voted for Steph's Death by Chocolate, partly because it has a limited number of ingredients, and very simple directions. I like to cook, but I'm not much for complex recipes. Give me a recipe I can easily memorize, like one pound chocolate, one dozen eggs, one pound butter, and one cup of sugar. What could possibly be simpler? OK, there is also the whipped cream for topping, and the espresso powder -- I'm not familiar with that, is it anything like normal instant coffee?
But I can certainly see doing this one, AS SOON as it gets cool enough to stand using the oven. We have had 2-1/2 weeks straight of 100+ temperatures (38°C-40°C), so baking is definitely on hold right now. I don't even actually want to eat a rich chocolate cake right now, let alone bake one. (how can it bake as a cake with no flour? I still don't quite understand, which is one reason I want to try it)

Well I'm guessing this is where I vote.
If not, I tried looking for other possible places to do so.
I vote for Ford of Rivendell's Homemade Bread, because the name is great and homemade bread is something everyone can enjoy.

...aaannd -- supermocha black holes took an early lead ... vampire muffins are pulling ahead by a nose ... glinda's chocolate decadence may be making a move ... get your votes down now, folks!
Maybe if we ever have a vote with this many choices again we should each vote for our three top preferences, or something, so the votes won't be as thinly scattered.
I didn't know it was even possible to put up a poll with 44 choices!
Has anybody calculated how many pounds of chocolate it would take to make them all? (You can even sub 1/4 c cocoa for flour in my pound cake, though actually I think it is better as a slightly lemony yellow cake than chocolate)

You need to vote in the poll on the top of this thread for your vote to count. ;)

My vote goes to #15- lazyfairy's Caramel Dreams Cookies cause I love caramel.}:P
Course I COULD vote for my own, but that'd defeat the purpose, methinks.

I wonder if your browser or OS settings could be causing the poll to not work as it should? If you don't see the poll at the top of this thread, or if you can see it but can't select an option and/or the Vote button, please email blogmom@robinmckinleysblog.com. Thanks!

Email sent.
I'm running IE8, tried it in both compatible mode and non, and the poll won't work for me.}:(
