reverse image searching!
I've been thinking that this is exactly what would be perfect on several hundred occasions when I want to find an image.
But I didn't think it was possible.
Guess I was wrong.
Oh good.

Quote:

TinEye is a reverse image search engine. You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks. For some real TinEye search examples, check out our Cool Searches page.

Well, the links below aren't exactly for amusement, but I hope I'm not threadjacking by posting them here. Smile

PortableApps - lots of lovely programs that will run from a usb memory stick. Is anyone else a fan of these? I find many of them really useful.

And related to that:

AccessApps: all sorts of accessibility support programs for use with IT/e-Learning. It's rather a big download, but lots of great stuff on there.

What did we all do before memory sticks! Smile

Lovely! Thank you. Smile

We have been through fairly similar episodes with Tabbs, although luckily we're easier to wake up (before too much damage occurs...).

I loved it, especially after he got it and wanted it to play more! My cats are just like that with our evil plague of miller moths here; they were especially abundant at the beginning of this summer. Sad

Since this is for links, well I have a question that I think a link could partly answer.
First have any of you read any of the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer? If so, well have any of you listened to it on cd or tape? It is narrated by Nathaniel Parker, and he said that he narrated the last book but it is most certainly not available in America, so anybody know where I could get it or is it really unavailable?

Are you talking about book 6 or 7? Because the book 6 audiobook is in my library, so it must be available somewhere. But book 7 isn't due out till next summer, according to amazon. Though, amazon has been known to lie...

Watched this and thought what a nice person the 'Simon's Cat' creator seems to be. Can't you just imagine, though, what the response would be if the hellhounds treated one of Robin's proof sets as the second little cartoon here shows..! Smile

*nods in emphatic agreement* I stick firmly to the BBC Radio 4 in the morning. I tried watching breakfast TV a couple of times, was infected with whatever the virus is, via the screen, and subsequently went through each day smiling vacuously at people and making inane comments. *shudder*

I know that there are a few of you that also dabble in dog showing

there is live streaming from the main area at the NEC for Crufts at http://www.dfscrufts.tv/

Tomorrow is Toy and Utility day, Sunday is Gundogs and best in show. The main arena also has other events throughout the day.

live streaming starts at about 8.30 am and goes on throughout the day, ending with full group judging from around 6.30 pm

Sorry if this is already in here somewhere... but I got totally lost in this yesterday. I sat down to do some homework, and somehow I lost 4 hours looking at birds and listening to the songs they sing.
