Congratulations! There will always be something (or things) that will go wrong, no matter how well you plan for something like a wedding. I survived my own, 32+ years ago, and my son's wedding last year. It seems you've done well in getting through yours. I wish you and Hero many many happy years together.

Congratulations!!! Lovely photos. Thanks for including the excellent music line up- I would have wondered about that.
I had no idea that one could get married during Sunday mass. I'm Catholic too, and almost never miss Mass (partly because I am cantor for Saturday evening when I'm home, and have been for the past five years- and before that it never was an option, really, to miss church. Now it still isn't, but I choose for it to be that way. ) ... if that tangle of words makes sense, my point is that I've never seen anyone get married during a regular mass.
But that is so beautiful, that you wanted to have your church family be a part of your wedding. How marvelous!

My local church leans very heavily on new parents to have their children baptized during ordinary Sunday Mass, rather than privately. (Success has been mixed.) I mean, hey, you are welcoming new babies into the COMMUNITY, don't you think the community should, like, you know, BE there?
