They’re heeeeeere . . .

So, look what came in the post.

These are the galleys, mind you, not the final book.  The final book is November.IMG_0489

And, because I am a malevolent cow, here is a double page roughly at random from relatively near the beginning where I don’t think anything too astonishing/jarring is being given away.   Let me know if anyone can’t read it (you do have to click it big first) and I’ll hang it properly from the text file instead of taking a photo of the pages in the ARC–although this is of course more amusing.  I think it’s fairly self-explanatory:  this is just before Sylvi’s binding.

* Yes, that’s the line(s) for Kent Treble Bob for the treble and the two on handbells in the background—and Cambridge mostly hidden on the top right.   Which just live on my kitchen table, okay?  HOW DO I GET MYSELF INTO THESE THINGS.^  Finally told Niall last week that at the present time and with the present drain on resources ^^ and my comparatively few years thus far tying myself in method-ringing knots that I didn’t think I could learn Cambridge on handbells yet.  Niall acquiesced to this and assigned Kent instead way too quickly.  This was clearly a plotKent looks easy after falling at a few Cambridge fences.  Well. Easy.  Let’s not get carried away.  It looks doable.  And as soon as we do it . . . Niall will thrust us at frelling Cambridge again.  Sigh.  However, I rang two leads (two-fifths) of Kent today on handbells so Niall’s diabolical little plan is obviously working.  I wonder if there’s a Evil Ratbag’s Handbook or if he just makes this stuff up from native talent?

^ Note to self:  get into no more THINGS.+

+ very small voice says:  would still like to finish last year of homeopathy college.  And get out sketch pad and inks. ~

~ even smaller voice says:  and knitting looks like fun

 ^^ PEG II, for example.

** Note that I totally believed that Tim Burton was going to direct Neil Gaiman’s Sandman.

*** Yes, the box is being held up by a Famous Pink Watering Can.
