Ready to rock and roll
These are primulas (primroses*), which are tough little beggars anyway: they won’t have minded the Post Office version of that midway stalwart The Big Dipper. They are also among those designated to be planted over my spring bulbs, which continue not to arrive. I tell myself these are little plug things and needed to be potted on first anyway, but . . .
That’s an empty bulb trough they’re sitting in too.
* In fact, double primroses, which means yet more flowers that look like tiny roses
