That break in the clouds is very far away. Where we are you have to point the camera very slightly down so the rain doesn’t run over the lens, you can’t see through your glasses, and stopping even long enough to take a photo causes disbelieving howls from hellhounds, especially Darkness, who tends to have a lot to say about such things.

Oh, how I love the rain and the clouds! Of course, I can only say that because I live in a desert and am not getting dumped on like the rest of the world and am not sick of the rain and wet dog smell. So just to let you know, I am admiring and appreciating your photos (very much!) wistfully from afar…
In a very small voice (I don’t actually MIND the wet dog smell . . . and even the All Stars are amazingly CLEAN after wading through lakes . . . )
