Rainbow landscape, lll
But I’m not sure I’d believe it if I weren’t the one who took the photos. The bit I’m leaving out is that we had to go back, because the first day I didn’t have the camera with me. This is a walk out beyond the old house, and I don’t ordinarily get that far all that often. But this was so extraordinary that I had to come back with the camera. Hellhounds thought it was a good idea too.

It IS unbelievable – but I believe! I always thought of comfrey as a sort of grey healing compoundy powder sort of stuff, but it’s beautiful. Did you recognise it as comfrey straightaway? Very impressive plant knowledge.
Except for the fact that I may have recognised it wrong.

Closer than I would have got – erm, not grass, not beet, not rape, not wheat, umm, help!!
Um, blue-violet flowers, um! :)
Oh. Wow.
Beautiful.
Stunning photos, all of them.
[I survived wisdom tooth extraction on Friday, but still am in some pain[not terrible, but not fun. definitlely not fun.], so haven’t managed to open/get to/look at my computer until now.]

Very glad it’s over with and that’s the worst of it! Yes, ‘definitely not fun’. Drink lots of soothing ice cream! :)

Pardon me while I weep quietly at how absolutely GORGEOUS a photo that is. That beam of light off a bit on the puddle of blue… Ah!
Oh wow, that is an amazing photo – thanks for going back and capturing it!
Oh, heavens. I’m just overcome with homesickness for a country I only lived in for a few months. You forget the colors, you know? And the great sweep of the sky. And the way that everything is so sharply vivid that you can almost feel the colors in your skin. In the Summer. In the Winter, on the other hand…
Well I actually like winter here too. I’ll try to take some demonstrative photos later. . . . :)

******** Yes! And I admire your grasp of botanical Latin! :)
Well after Catullus and ‘O’ level latin, all I seem to manage nowadays is the latin equivalent of franglais – canis horribilis (“bad dog!”) or plantus anonymii (“I surely don’t know you, plant!”)
LOL!!!
