Pegasus II  coming in 2014
Shadows coming in 2013

Connie!, ll

img_0582jpgsmall.jpgYou can see just from the expression on her face what a nice horse she is.  (Even if she is behind the bit.)  And you probably can’t see this, but this is a very nice trot.  Jenny can get it out of her a lot faster* than I can.  The problem, as I have said to Jenny, is that while you can get your upper body strength elsewhere, there is nothing that is going to give you driving seat and leg muscles except sitting on a horse and squeezing.

* Yo!  Wake up!  The master speaketh!

What I *can* tell from the photo is that she looks clever and sweet. You’re very right about her expression.

I know absolutely nothing about horses, but my lord she’s beautiful. And if I’m reading her expression properly she’s having fun doing that.

yes, she does. Part of the definition of a good horse from human view is a horse that enjoys doing what the human wants them to do. If the human has any sense of course they’ll find what the horse likes doing too. Lots of dressage horses/jumpers started life as the other, and some sensible human figured it out.
