Pegasus II  coming in 2014
Shadows coming in 2013

YAAAAY, iv

souvenir-v.jpgI admit to being a bit demented on the subject of roses, but I look at something (or, if you prefer, someone) like Souvenir and think, okay, we gotta save a planet that can produce her.

Yaaaayy!!
I’m so glad you have some Souvenir to enjoy :) I was starting to feel guilty for having blooms in winter. After rain (we had some!!!!!) It is kind of nice to know that on the other side of the world in the far reaches of the UK that there is Souvenir blooming just like she is here…. :)

Gorgeous! I’m glad she had some left for the sun! My Blaze is finally dropping off, but when she was really going, she was REALLY GOING. The neighbors all commented on the amazingly lovely blooms covering the front (west) windows. And, it was in full bloom for my parents visit. Yay for roses!!

These photos make me want to break out into poetry…

I think I will never see
A billboard as beautiful as a tree
In fact unless the billboards fall
I’ll never see at all. -O Nash

Oh but why did I only memorize funny poems? My mind went on a search to find something to praise a queen of roses and stalled on this one.

She’s so beautiful I could almost smell her.

Wow. Those are amazing. I don’t think I’d even guess that was a rose if you hadn’t made it blatantly obvious that they are!

If Roses that grew in the US looked like that I’d have to say, I’d be more inclined to love roses myself. Ours all are very pretty, but that looks so dainty as to crush were yo to even breathe on it, no wonder she does poorly in rain!
