You too are welcome in our park anytime in daylight…

Comment by Jenny

I think I just fell in love…

Comment by Susan from Athens

I don’t know if it’s the angle of the photograph, or I’m projecting what I’ve heard about him, but Darkness looks a lot more steady and less flighty. But gorgeous, of course.

Comment by jmeadows

I had the same reaction to this photo. :)

Chaos is lovely and all…. but I’m an utter sucker for a brunette. :) What a gorgeous face. What great dogs!

Comment by Robin

The problem is, all of you know that the instant way to my heart is to be soppy about my hellhounds. :) Darkness is much harder to SEE simply because he IS dark too.

Comment by Black Bear

Would you say he’s black, or dark grey? I can’t quite tell.

Comment by Robin

He’s a very dark grey with a mahogany undertone. Almost like a very dark Weimeraner. He looks black in dull weather. And then he gleams like old wood in sunlight. :)

I’m commenting here for both puppies: They look so sweet! It’s hard to believe that animals so innocent-looking could get up to such mischief. They look like “What? Us? We are just over here, making the world a better place with our beauty. What’s that? Oh, you wanted to pet us? Oh. Well, that would be okay. Ahhhh…”

Comment by Robin

All, all true. :)

DARKNESS! So handsome! He looks like he’s got plans. What a clever face. And his nose!

*squeepers*

*dies of cute-induced squee*

Comment by Robin

LOL! **Squeepers?!?*

Comment by jmeadows

Squee’s younger cousin. I’m sure there’s squeetastic and squeetacular on the way. ;)

Comment by Robin

SNORK. And squeebulous. :)

Comment by jmeadows

*dies* Currently I have THIS MUCH loff for you. I am officially cracking up. :P

Comment by Robin

Oh good. We like being appreciated. :)

What a wonderfully, deceptively sweet look. “Aren’t I adorable? You can’t possibly believe any of those stories she tells about us, can you? Blink. blink. Pretty babies.

Comment by Ryl

That’s a very suspicious innocent look.

Comment by Robin

It ABSOLUTELY is. :)

Oh, god. He’s gorgeous. Stunning. Beautiful eyes. Beautiful nose. Beautiful color. As I said, before, I think blue is one of my very favorite colors in dogs.

Don’t make me come over there…I’m shameless about making an absolute fool of myself rolling around on the floor with other people’s dogs….

What a very nice puppy you have. Very innocent looking….

Comment by Lady Relaynie

Ohhh! The precious!

That’s usually the way: the more innocent they look, the more trouble they get into. How can you not forgive these two, though?

Comment by Kimberly

“Mom, I swear, it was all Chaos’ idea…. Pet me? Please?”

AWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to jump on an airplane and rush over to England to give both Chaos and Darkness huge cuddle-hugs and squee over them !

… and bring you some REAL chocolate chip cookies [and hugs], of course!

Finals? What? What? When there are such pressingly beautiful dogs to admire?! England calls!

… Oh, I WISH! Eventually, I’ll get to England. In the meantime, I live vicariously through the guest blog entries from Hannah, Cormac, Becki, and Ruby.
And from all the fabulousness you have written as well, of course, but that sort of goes without saying , doesn’t it?!

:)

And I feel I must agree with all the other people who commented on these photos- hellgoddess is MUCH more fitting than hag!!!

humph. a hag indeed. You are neither old nor hag-like in features- very pretty. And thin. And with very strong arms. Maybe you are slightly different from the other pictures you posted of yourself, but not terribly much. AND your shirt has a ROSE on it. Which made me happy. Very much in keeping with the theme, is it not? As much as you may try to argue that you chose flattering pictures of yourself, the fact remains that you do look wonderful! So ha. [said in a 'so there!' tone...]

:)

I fell asleep before finishing this comment, and have just woken up, so I’m stopping here.
Yay. Happy Monday. [ugh]

******** Of course. Just so long as you remember to mention that you’re not mentioning it occasionally. :)

******** Just don’t forget the ‘hell’ part. I wouldn’t *enjoy* being the kind of goddess that doesn’t get to do the heavy scowly thing.

******** Here I thought posting pics would make me *relax* a little at the idea of meeting my readers in person–which has been one of the basic dreads of my existence since BEAUTY first came out. It’s beginning to have the OPPOSITE EFFECT. ALL OF THESE PHOTOS ARE **FLATTERING**, OKAY?!

AND your shirt has a ROSE on it.

******** Specially selected in prospect of having my photo taken, believe me. :)

brain is going over this a few times. remembering to mention that I am not mentioning it [i.e. your awesomeness] occasionally. okay. will do.

which reminds me– remember that paper I wrote a while ago? That I asked your permission to use the “School Assignment Letter” essay-rant? Well, my English professor told me that she had read Outlaws of Sherwood, but quite a while ago– and so, she is now reading Sunshine. Because I kept going on about you, I guess. I actually am not positive if she has started it yet, but she did say that she had bought it and can’t wait to read it– and that was a week or two [or three] ago now…

Yay.

******** Just don’t forget the ‘hell’ part. I wouldn’t *enjoy* being the kind of goddess that doesn’t get to do the heavy scowly thing.

You know, the first thing that came to mind when you started talking about hellhag/hellgoddess was that character from the Tamora Pierce Immortals books– the Graveyard Hag in Emperor Mage. And the Three-fold Goddess from the Tortall universe [I believe].
But I liked that first especially.
Then you get not only the heavy scowly thing, but also the cackly magic wicked humor tricky wise more cackly type thing.

:)

********** Excellent. Perfect. I’m there. :)

Comment by Julia

Oh good. I figured you would get it- seem to recall you praising Pierce in one of the book posts back on lj.
So you didn’t take it[Graveyard Hag] the wrong way, despite my inability to describe her properly. good.

[relieved sigh]

:)

Comment by Robin

I’m predisposed to like anyone calling herself Graveyard Hag. :)

Squee! Darkness is beautiful, too! (If it ever comes to the point of a box on the side of the road with a free hellhounds sign, please just tell me first!)

Comment by Shelley--ssshunt

His eyes are so beautiful–and smart. Hellhound or not he’s got my attention. Just want to bite him. And kiss his nose.
